Shipping
Every nuggs piece is handmade, packaged, and posted by Ashley from Glasgow, UK. Please allow 3-5 working days for your item/s to be posted. If your piece is made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks. UK orders will be shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 48 at £3.99. Any UK order over £100 will be shipped the same for free. International orders will be shipped by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed for Europe at £14.99 and Worldwide at £23.99, and international customers are responsible for any tax fees, duties or customs.
In the rare case that your package is lost, stolen, delayed or damaged in transit, nuggs will do everything we can to help you, but ultimately we are not responsible for these circumstances. By purchasing a piece from us you agree to our terms that lost items will not be replaced/refunded. Once our packages are handed over to the postal carrier we are no longer liable for them. You are responsible for following up with the carrier, and nuggs will make every effort to assist you in receiving compensation from the carrier for missing or damaged packages.
All pieces are shipped in a secure cardboard box with tape that is recyclable. The contents of the package are designed to be kept or re-used, but if you don’t require a drawstring pouch or jewellery tin please let me know and I will remove it.
Returns
We hope that you will be delighted with your nuggs purchase. However, if you are not entirely satisfied, you may return the order to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Changes, cancellations or exchanges are not accepted.

In order to be eligible for a refund the item must be returned unworn, in the same condition as you received it, and in its original packaging with proof of purchase. We will notify you that we have received your return by email and of the approval or rejection of your refund, based on the condition of the item/s received. Returns are at the customers own expense and risk, and the original cost of postage will not be refunded. We do not take responsibility for any items lost in transit - we recommend you use a tracked service and keep your receipt.
We cannot accept the return of:
- custom or personalised orders
- earrings, in accordance with the UK Health & Hygiene Regulations.
Unless they arrive to you damaged or defective.
All international and worldwide orders are final sale.
Looking after your nuggs
The best way to prevent tarnishing is to wear your pieces regularly! Exposure to water, chlorine, body lotions, perfumes, and sweat can discolour your piece, so we recommend minimising contact with these materials as much as possible while wearing. If they do discolour over time you can clean your piece with warm water and natural (or dish) soap and a gentle brush, and polish up with a microfibre cloth. Thin chains are particularly delicate and should be treated with care. When not wearing your pieces, store them in the pouch/tin provided, or just hidden from the open air, as this will slow the tarnishing. Naturally over time scratches and general wear will appear on your silver, this is part of the individuality of your piece as you carry it.
In the unfortunate event you need a repair on an item, please email nuggsjewellery@outlook.com. Breakages caused by defect (not accidental damage) within 100 days of purchase will be repaired at no charge. Repairs or cleaning needed after 100 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge assessed on an individual basis. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges, and we recommend you use a tracked service.
Resizing
We believe that every piece we make is as individual as the person who wears it, and therefore we do not offer resizing at this time, but you are welcome to source your own ring resizing elsewhere. We recommend you use our ring sizing guide, or visit your local jeweller to get your finger sized before purchasing a ring - this is usually a free service. We regularly update our site with new styles in various size ranges… your perfect piece awaits!
Sustainability
All of nuggs pieces are handmade by Ashley in small batches, and we source everything we need to run our small business within the UK such as our tools, materials, and sterling silver. Any scrap material is not wasted, off cuts of silver are collected and melted down to create new pieces of jewellery via water casting or other techniques.
We are working towards using 100% recycled silver in all our pieces - recycled precious metals are equal in quality to unrecycled precious metals so you still receive high quality pieces and they have a positive impact on the environment. When a piece is 100% recycled silver it will be described as such, and if it’s a mix of recycled and non-recycled elements, we’ll let you know in the item description so you can make the most informed choice possible when picking out your perfect piece!
All of our external packaging is fully recyclable, and we encourage you to repurpose any internal packaging to give it a new life, or dispose of it appropriately and mindfully. If you do not require a velvet drawstring pouch, please let me know and I will remove it from the packaging.

Water casting
Water casting is the process of pouring hot molten metal into cold water to form interesting and unique shapes. This process does not use any mould or predetermined shaping, so every nugg made this way is individual and irreplicable - although some similar shapes can be achieved depending on the pour. 1/1 or ‘one of one’ just means there is only one of the piece available due to the unique way they are created.
Made to order
If a piece is made to order, it will be labelled as such in the product description.
Made to order pieces are produced after your order has been placed, and therefore take a little longer to ship as we make it especially for you, to your specific requirements. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping, unless stated otherwise in the product description.
We cannot accept returns on any made to order pieces unless they arrive to you damaged or defective. See our returns policy for more information.
